About The Author

Born in Wyoming, Kathryn Dangler spent her teenage years in northwestern Minnesota. After moving to Vermont, she married a New Englander, raised a family, received a BA from Trinity College of Vermont, and developed a career working with men and women transitioning from prison. In 2000 Kathryn moved with her family to Boston. While still working with at risk populations, Kathryn began writing. Ice House. is excerpted from her novel, The Last Resort. She recently published her first collection of a short stories entitled I’ll Fly Away.
